Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement: Disappointing, Sad, and Disgusting

While I can understand being upset with Obama and his administration, not too mention Congress and Senate there should be a limit. Unfortunately, it seems that the people of this nation are unable to do more than cheer and chant regardless of whom they worship now...Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement: Disappointing, Sad, and Disgusting

The Fundamentalist becomes the Observer: More from theTucson Atheism Examiner

The fundamentalist went away and now we have the Observer, a person who feels it is necessary to do everything they can to convert or prove what is said to be wrong. Unfortunately, as with many trolls the Observer is afraid to use their real name, this tends to be a by-product of belief systems based in myth and “traditions.” They fear that to use their real name they are in fact allowing the other person access to their “souls.” But enough about that lets go straight to the wonderful trollish comments and responses that must be made, after all I am quite tired of deleting this trolls comments...The Fundamentalist becomes the Observer: More from theTucson Atheism Examiner

Teaching the Constitution: Education in Sierra Vista Arizona

Sierra Vista- Is it time to up the ante, why are we allowing our youth to be educated without the Constitution? Did you know that Buena High School does not even have civics classes? In addition, if you go to the middle Schools they are teaching the “nationally accepted” version of our foundation as a nation, with emphasis on taxation. Here is a quote from the government approved workbooks, “explain how the following provisions of the United States Constitution give government the power it needs to fulfill the purposes for which it was established” this in relation to Taxation not freedom, not balance of power. For those who believe I am not telling the truth, when was the last time you asked your children what they know about the Constitution...Teaching the Constitution: Education in Sierra Vista Arizona

Atheism and the Military: Tucson Atheist speaks out

Sierra Vista – Are there atheists in the military, what about pagans, Muslims and more? Is there a problem with being an atheist in the United States military today? Local soldiers tell a different story, here at Fort Huachuca there are many atheists, agnostics and even pagans. Among many troops at the enlisted level this is not necessarily a problem, however, officers that have gone to the various military academies may find it difficult to stomach...Atheism and the Military: Tucson Atheist speaks out

Comments and Responses: Tucson Atheism Examiner attempts to create News...

When you write a religion column that is not really religion (i.e. Atheism) it tends to be boring occasionally as there is not much news. I mean I could put a local spin on the various lawsuits circulating the United States concerning Atheism, Creationism, Christianity, and more but, generally speaking I may not always agree with the lawsuits. Therefore, it is important to be able to submit local tidbits that may help others who have had the struggles through life that I have concerning acceptance from others and more. Personally, I love answering questions asked and statements made in the comments of the various articles I write. Therefore, here are a few questions and statements and my answers to them, or statements in response. All of the questions and statements were taken from the recent article, Calvinist to Atheist: Tucson Atheism Examiner Responds...Comments and Responses: Tucson Atheism Examiner attempts to create News...

Facts and Fiction: Libertarian views from Cochise County

What is it that we all want, we tend to get upset with anyone who does not think like we do, believe what we believe, and follow the same people we do. Yet, most of us detest anyone wanting to get “involved” in our lives, we detest the thought of losing our own freedom to choose and live our lives the way we want...Facts and Fiction: Libertarian views from Cochise County

The existence of Sin: Local answers from the educated Atheist

Recent comments on the article regarding homosexuality were both heartening and fun to read. It becomes obvious to me as an Atheist (formerly a Calvinist and prior to that Pentecostal Christian) that most people who are not Atheists are unable to understand what an Atheist is. I will clarify a few points for the unfortunates** that are enjoying this column...The existence of Sin: Local answers from the educated Atheist

More lies from the Obama side: 2010 State of the Union Address

I was disgusted with much of what I heard during his State of the Union address and today when I was reading back over the text of the speech I realized why. Obama has a severe case of what my son gets occasionally, I call it Copyitis it is a disease that affects the ability to function without attaching themselves to another’s problem if it means more attention. Of course, if you couple this “disease” with the other ailment, lietoomuch, one can see that problems may occur...More lies from the Obama side: 2010 State of the Union Address
